Corey Seager is an American professional baseball player born on April 27, 1994, in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He plays as a shortstop for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Seager began his MLB career in 2015 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, where he played for six seasons before signing with the Rangers in 2021. Throughout his career, Seager has established himself as one of the top shortstops in the league, earning two All-Star selections and a World Series MVP award in 2020.
Seager is known for his impressive hitting and defensive abilities, as well as his leadership skills on and off the field. He has a career batting average of .295 and has hit over 100 home runs in his career so far.
