Dejounte Murray is an American professional basketball player born on September 19, 1996, in Seattle, Washington. He plays as a point guard for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Murray played college basketball for the University of Washington before being selected by the San Antonio Spurs as the 29th overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft. He played for the Spurs for six seasons before being traded to the Atlanta Hawks in 2022.
Throughout his career, Murray has been recognized for his defensive skills and his ability to rebound and assist. He has earned several NBA All-Defensive Team selections and was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2017.
