John Collins is an American professional basketball player born on September 23, 1997, in Layton, Utah. He plays as a power forward/center for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Collins played college basketball at Wake Forest University before being drafted in the first round of the 2017 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks. He has played for the Hawks ever since and has become an integral part of the team.
