Nic Claxton is an American professional basketball player born on April 17, 1999, in Greenville, South Carolina. He plays as a center for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Claxton played college basketball for two seasons at the University of Georgia before declaring for the NBA draft in 2019. He was selected by the Brooklyn Nets as the 31st overall pick in the draft.
Throughout his NBA career, Claxton has shown promise as a versatile and athletic player. He missed most of his rookie season due to injuries but made a strong comeback in the 2021-2022 season, averaging 8.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
