Norman Powell is an American professional basketball player born on May 25, 1993, in San Diego, California. He plays as a shooting guard/small forward for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Powell began his NBA career in 2015 after being selected in the second round of the NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. He was later traded to the Toronto Raptors, where he played for six seasons before being traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in 2021. In 2022, he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Throughout his career, Powell has developed a reputation as a solid scorer and defender. He is known for his three-point shooting ability and his tenacity on defense. Powell was also a key contributor to the Raptors' championship run in 2019, providing a much-needed spark off the bench.
