Carey Price is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender born on August 16, 1987, in Anahim Lake, British Columbia. He currently plays for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Price began his hockey career in his hometown with the Anahim Lake Chiefs and then moved on to play for the Williams Lake Timberwolves in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). In 2005, he was selected fifth overall by the Canadiens in the NHL Entry Draft, and soon after, he joined the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League (WHL).

Price made his NHL debut with the Canadiens in 2007 and quickly became one of the league's top goaltenders, earning a reputation for his athleticism, technical skills, and calm demeanor under pressure. He has won numerous awards throughout his career, including the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's best goaltender in 2015 and the Hart Trophy as the league's most valuable player in 2015.

Off the ice, Price is known for his advocacy work in support of mental health initiatives, particularly in Indigenous communities. He is also a keen outdoorsman and spends much of his free time hunting and fishing in the mountains near his hometown.
