Alec Bohm is an American professional baseball player born on August 3, 1996, in Omaha, Nebraska. He currently plays as a third baseman for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Bohm played college baseball for Wichita State University before being drafted by the Phillies in the first round of the 2018 MLB draft. He quickly rose through the minor league ranks and made his MLB debut in 2020.
In his rookie season, Bohm made an immediate impact for the Phillies, hitting .338 with four home runs and 23 RBIs in just 44 games. He finished second in the NL Rookie of the Year voting.
