 Aledmys Diaz was born on August 1, 1990, in Santa Clara, Cuba. He is a professional baseball player who currently plays as a left fielder for the Oakland Athletics in Major League Baseball (MLB).

Diaz began his MLB career with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2016, where he quickly established himself as a versatile player who could play multiple positions. He was named to the All-Star team in his rookie season and helped lead the Cardinals to the playoffs.
