Alex Call is an American professional baseball outfielder born on September 27, 1994. He currently plays as a center fielder for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB). Call began his professional career after being selected by the Chicago White Sox in the third round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He spent time in the minor leagues, playing for various affiliates such as the Great Falls Voyagers, Kannapolis Intimidators, and Winston-Salem Dash. In December 2018, Call was traded to the Cleveland Indians. He played for their minor league teams, including the Akron RubberDucks and Columbus Clippers. In July 2022, Call's contract was selected by the Guardians, and he made his major league debut.

On August 7, 2022, Call was claimed off waivers by the Washington Nationals. He made an impressive performance on September 8, 2022, with four hits, including a three-run home run and five RBIs in a game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
