Anthony Rizzo

Anthony Rizzo is an American professional baseball player born on August 8, 1989, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is best known for his career in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a first baseman.

Rizzo currently plays for the New York Yankees, having been traded from the Chicago Cubs in July 2021. He began his MLB career with the San Diego Padres in 2011 before joining the Cubs in 2012, where he played a pivotal role in their World Series victory in 2016.

Throughout his career, Rizzo has been recognized as a reliable and powerful hitter, as well as an exceptional fielder. He has been named an All-Star multiple times and has received numerous awards for his contributions both on and off the field.
