Austin Hedges

Austin Hedges is an American professional baseball player born on August 18, 1992, in San Juan Capistrano, California. He plays as a catcher in Major League Baseball (MLB) and is currently a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Hedges made his MLB debut in 2015 with the San Diego Padres, where he spent the majority of his career. Known for his exceptional defensive skills behind the plate, Hedges has established himself as one of the top defensive catchers in the league.
