Coco Crisp is a former American professional baseball player who was born on November 1, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. He played as an outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB) for various teams over a 15-year career.

Crisp was drafted in the seventh round of the 1999 MLB draft by the St. Louis Cardinals. He made his MLB debut in 2002 with the Cleveland Indians and later played for the Boston Red Sox, Kansas City Royals, and Oakland Athletics, among others.

Throughout his career, Crisp was known for his excellent defensive skills and speed on the basepaths. He was also a switch hitter, which made him a valuable asset to any team.

After retiring from baseball in 2017, Crisp transitioned to coaching and served as a guest instructor for several MLB teams. In 2021, he was named the manager of the Arizona Complex League Athletics, a minor league team affiliated with the Oakland Athletics.
