Trea Turner was born on June 30, 1993, in Boynton Beach, Florida, United States. He is a professional baseball player who currently plays as a shortstop for the Philadelphia Phillies in Major League Baseball (MLB).
Turner was drafted by the San Diego Padres in 2014 and was later traded to the Washington Nationals, where he spent the majority of his career. He is known for his speed and base-stealing abilities, as well as his solid defense at the shortstop position.
Turner has been named an All-Star three times and has won a Silver Slugger Award. In 2021, he led the league in hits, stolen bases, and triples, earning him the National League (NL) batting title. In addition to his individual achievements, Turner has helped lead his teams to the playoffs multiple times, including winning the World Series with the Nationals in 2019.
In 2022, Turner signed with the Philadelphia Phillies, where he will continue to showcase his talents as a top shortstop in the league.
