Where Did Aaron Gordon Play College Basketball?
Aaron Gordon attended the University of Arizona, where he played for the Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team. During his freshman year in 2013-14, Gordon quickly established himself as one of the top players in the country. He started all 38 games and helped lead the Wildcats to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament, where they lost to the University of Wisconsin.
Gordon's impressive play during his freshman year earned him a number of accolades, including being named to the All-Pac-12 first team and earning Pac-12 Freshman Player of the Year and Pac-12 All-Freshman team honors. He was also named one of the 30 finalists for the Naismith College Player of the Year, an award given to the top college basketball player in the country.
Despite his success at Arizona, Gordon decided to forgo his final three years of college eligibility and declare for the NBA draft.
