Anthony Black, born on January 20, 2004, is a rising American basketball player currently playing for the Orlando Magic in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Hailing from Duncanville, Texas, Black gained prominence as a highly sought-after prospect and was regarded as one of the top players in the 2022 class.
After an impressive high school career, Black joined the Arkansas Razorbacks for his college basketball journey. As a freshman, he made an immediate impact, starting as a guard for the team. He showcased his skills during the 2022 Maui Invitational Tournament, averaging 22 points per game and earning recognition as the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Freshman of the Week.
Black's consistent performances throughout the season led to his inclusion in the SEC All-Freshman team. With averages of 12.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, he demonstrated his versatility and all-around abilities on the court.
