Bam Adebayo is an American professional basketball player born on July 18, 1997, in Newark, New Jersey. He currently plays as a power forward/center for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Adebayo played one year of college basketball at the University of Kentucky before being selected 14th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2017 NBA draft. He quickly became a key player for the Heat, earning NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors in his rookie season.
Adebayo's talent and versatility on the court have continued to impress, and he has become one of the top young players in the NBA. He was selected to his first NBA All-Star game in 2020 and helped lead the Heat to the NBA Finals that same year.
