D'Angelo Russell

D'Angelo Russell is an American professional basketball player born on February 23, 1996, in Louisville, Kentucky. He plays as a point guard/shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), having been traded back to the team in February of 2023.

Russell began his NBA career in 2015 after being selected second overall by the Lakers. He played for the team for two seasons before being traded to the Brooklyn Nets in 2017. He then played for the Golden State Warriors before being traded back to the Timberwolves in 2020.

Throughout his career, Russell has been recognized for his scoring ability and playmaking skills. He is a one-time NBA All-Star and has earned several player of the week and month awards.
