Davion Mitchell

Davion Mitchell is an American professional basketball player born on September 5, 1998, in Hinesville, Georgia. He plays as a point guard for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Mitchell began his college career at Auburn University before transferring to Baylor University, where he played for two seasons. In 2021, he helped lead Baylor to the NCAA championship and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.

In the same year, Mitchell was selected as the ninth overall pick in the NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings. He made an immediate impact in his rookie season, showcasing his defensive skills and scoring ability on the court.

Mitchell is known for his tenacious defense, quickness, and ability to score from anywhere on the court. He has been compared to NBA All-Star player Marcus Smart for his style of play.
