Ja Morant is an American professional basketball player born on August 10, 1999, in Dalzell, South Carolina. He currently plays as a point guard for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Morant attended Murray State University, where he played college basketball for two seasons before declaring for the NBA draft in 2019. In the same year, he was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies as the second overall pick in the draft.
