Bridges played college basketball at Villanova University, where he helped lead the team to two national championships. In 2018, he was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers, but was immediately traded to the Phoenix Suns on draft night.

Since joining the NBA, Bridges has established himself as a versatile and reliable player for the Suns. He is known for his strong defense, accurate shooting, and ability to score from beyond the arc.
