Myles Turner is an American professional basketball player born on March 24, 1996, in Bedford, Texas. He plays as a center for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Turner played one year of college basketball at the University of Texas before declaring for the NBA draft in 2015. He was selected 11th overall by the Indiana Pacers and has played for the team ever since.
Throughout his career, Turner has established himself as one of the top defensive players in the league. He led the NBA in blocked shots per game in the 2018-2019 season and was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2021. Turner is also known for his shooting ability from beyond the arc.
