Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a Canadian professional basketball player born on July 12, 1998, in Toronto, Ontario. He currently plays as a point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Gilgeous-Alexander played college basketball at the University of Kentucky for one season before being selected by the Charlotte Hornets as the 11th overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft. He was later traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, where he played for one season before being traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019.

Gilgeous-Alexander has quickly established himself as one of the most promising young players in the NBA. In his second season with the Thunder, he averaged 19.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game, earning him a spot in the NBA Rising Stars Challenge in 2020.
