Tyasha Harris is a professional basketball player born on September 15, 1998, in Noblesville, Indiana. She attended South Carolina University where she played college basketball for the Gamecocks. Harris was a key player on the team that won the NCAA National Championship in 2017 and 2018.
Harris was selected by the Dallas Wings with the seventh overall pick in the 2020 WNBA draft. She played for the Wings for two seasons before being traded to the Connecticut Sun in January of 2023.
Harris currently plays for the Connecticut Sun as a point guard. She has quickly made a positive impact on the team with her playmaking abilities and strong defensive skills. In her rookie season, she averaged 6.8 points and 2.6 assists per game, and in her second season, she averaged 7.6 points and 3.7 assists per game.
Harris is known for her quickness and agility on the court, as well as her ability to run the offense and set up her teammates for scoring opportunities. She continues to improve her game and is expected to be a valuable asset for the Connecticut Sun for years to come.
