Tyler Herro is an American professional basketball player born on January 20, 2000, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He plays as a small forward/point guard for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Herro played college basketball for one season at the University of Kentucky before being selected 13th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2019 NBA draft. He quickly made an impact in his rookie season, helping lead the Heat to the NBA Finals.
Throughout his career, Herro has been recognized for his shooting ability, particularly from beyond the arc. He set a rookie record for most threes made in a single postseason game during the 2020 playoffs.
