Jessica Pegula is an American professional tennis player born on February 24, 1994, in Buffalo, New York. She is the daughter of Terry and Kim Pegula, owners of the NFL's Buffalo Bills and the NHL's Buffalo Sabres.
Pegula turned professional in 2013 and has since competed in various tournaments, including the Grand Slam events. In 2021, she reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open, her best result in a Grand Slam tournament to date.
Pegula has also had success in doubles competition, winning several titles on the WTA Tour.
As of 2023, Pegula is ranked in the top 30 in the world in singles and the top 50 in doubles. She continues to compete at a high level and is considered a rising star in women's tennis.
