Jacob deGrom

Jacob deGrom is an American professional baseball player born on June 19, 1988, in DeLand, Florida. He is a pitcher who currently plays for the Texas Rangers in Major League Baseball (MLB).

DeGrom began his MLB career with the New York Mets in 2014 and quickly established himself as one of the top pitchers in the league. He has won two National League Cy Young Awards, in 2018 and 2019, and has been named an All-Star four times.

In December 2022, deGrom was traded to the Texas Rangers, where he will continue his career as one of the most dominant pitchers in the game. He is known for his ability to throw fastballs and sliders with pinpoint accuracy and has been described as one of the most intimidating pitchers in baseball.
