Amen Thompson

Amen XLNC Thompson, born on January 30, 2003, is an American professional basketball player currently playing as a shooting guard for the Houston Rockets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Thompson made a name for himself while playing basketball for Pine Crest School, where he won a state title and received a five-star recruit rating from ESPN.

Thompson's exceptional skills and potential led him to forgo his senior year of high school and sign with Overtime Elite (OTE), a professional basketball league. During his two seasons with OTE, he played a significant role in his team's league title victory and was honored with All-OTE First Team recognition in 2023.

In the highly anticipated 2023 NBA Draft, Thompson's talent and potential were recognized, and he was selected as the 4th overall pick by the Houston Rockets. Notably, Thompson is the twin brother of fellow basketball player Ausar Thompson, and together they form a dynamic duo on and off the court.
