Did Bojan Bogdanovic Play College Basketball?
Bojan Bogdanovic, the sharp-shooting forward for the Utah Jazz, is one of the most talented and exciting players in the NBA today. With a smooth shooting stroke and a tireless work ethic, he has become a fan favorite and a key piece of the Pistons' roster. However, many fans may not know much about his background or his journey to the NBA.
Being a European, Bogdanovic did not play college basketball in the United States. Instead, he began his professional career in Croatia at the age of 14, playing for the local team Zrinjski Mostar and signed with Real Madrid in 2015. He played for several more European teams before signing with the Brooklyn Nets in 2016.
Despite his success overseas, Bogdanovic faced some challenges in his transition to the NBA. He struggled to find his footing in his first season with the Nets, averaging just 11.2 points per game and shooting only 33.8% from three-point range. However, he quickly improved and established himself as a valuable scorer for the team, averaging 14.2 points per game and shooting 39.2% from beyond the arc in his second season.
Bogdanovic's success with the Nets caught the attention of other NBA teams, and he was traded to the Indiana Pacers in 2017. He played two seasons in Indiana, averaging over 18 points per game in his second season, before being traded to the Utah Jazz in 2019, and the Pistons in 2022.
Since joining the Jazz, Bogdanovic has continued to impress with his scoring ability and clutch performances. He is known for his range and accuracy from beyond the arc, making him a constant threat on the perimeter. He has also shown his versatility, contributing on both ends of the floor with his defense and rebounding. With his impressive scoring ability and tireless work ethic, he is sure to continue making an impact in the NBA for years to come.
