DeMar DeRozan is an American professional basketball player born on August 7, 1989, in Compton, California. He plays as a shooting guard/small forward for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

DeRozan began his NBA career in 2009 after being selected ninth overall by the Toronto Raptors. He played for the Raptors for nine seasons before being traded to the San Antonio Spurs in 2018. In 2021, he signed with the Chicago Bulls as a free agent.

Throughout his career, DeRozan has been recognized as one of the top shooting guards in the league. He is a four-time NBA All-Star and has earned multiple All-NBA Team selections. DeRozan is known for his mid-range jump shot, athleticism, and ability to get to the free-throw line.
