Leonard Fournette is an American professional football player born on January 18, 1995, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He plays as a running back in the National Football League (NFL) and is currently a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fournette had a standout collegiate career at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he earned numerous accolades and set records. He entered the NFL in 2017 after being selected fourth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fournette spent three seasons with the Jaguars before joining the Buccaneers in 2020.
