Trae Young's Career Overview

Two-time NBA All-Star, Trae “Ice Trae” Young, is a NBA basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks. Young previously played for the Oklahoma Sooners during his college career where he became the only player to lead the NCAA simultaneously in points and assists in a single season. Originally, he was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in 2018 with the fifth pick, but was later traded to the Atlanta Hawks.

Young's Partnership Deal with Adidas

Due to his successful basketball career, Young struck up an impressive $1.8 million deal with Adidas eventually leading to the creation of his own shoe line. While the Trae Young 1 has been a huge hit, fans have been eagerly awaitng the release of the next interation of Ice Trae's shoe line. 

Seemingly as part of his 24th birthday celebrations, Young teased the new shoes on Instagram. Based on the images, the shoes appeared to feature a clean and traditional white upper with black accents on the heel and tongue.

Recently on August 9,2022 Young tweeted that he would be debuting the Trae Young 2s while playing in Abu Dhabi. The Hawks were scheduled to play the Milwaukee Bucks in the United Arab Emirates on October 6th and 8th. Young made good on his promise and debuted a pair of icy blue Trae Young 2s that have fans of the shoe line excitedly waiting to purchase their first pair!

Trae Young 2 Release Date
