Andrew Wiggins

Andrew Wiggins is a Canadian professional basketball player born on February 23, 1995, in Toronto, Ontario. He currently plays as a small forward/power forward for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Wiggins played college basketball for one season at the University of Kansas before being selected as the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was later traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, where he played for five seasons before being traded to the Golden State Warriors in 2020.

Throughout his NBA career, Wiggins has been known for his impressive athleticism, scoring ability, and strong defensive skills. He has earned several individual accolades, including being named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2015.
