Jaren Jackson Jr is an American professional basketball player born on September 15, 1999, in Plainfield, New Jersey. He plays as a power forward/center for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Jackson attended Michigan State University for one year before declaring for the NBA draft in 2018. He was selected by the Memphis Grizzlies as the fourth overall pick in the draft and has played for the team ever since.
