Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes is an American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He initially played college football and college baseball at Texas Tech. Patrick led all NCAA Division I FBS players in multiple categories including passing yards (5,052) and total touchdowns (53) in his junior year.

In 2020 Patrick signed a 10-year contract extension with Kansas City Chiefs worth $450 million making it the second-largest known contract in sporting history. Patrick made his second Super Bowl appearance after signing his contract and won the MVP award. Patrick is also the only third African American quarterback to win the MVP award. Patrick Mahomes is an accomplished football player with two Super Bowl appearances, five NFL records, and two NFL MVP awards under his belt.
