Kristaps Porziņģis

Kristaps Porziņģis is a Latvian professional basketball player born on August 2, 1995, in Liepāja, Latvia. He plays as a power forward/center in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and is currently a member of the Boston Celtics.

Porziņģis entered the NBA in 2015 after being selected as the fourth overall pick by the New York Knicks. He spent several seasons with the Knicks before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks in 2019. In 2023, Porziņģis was traded to the Boston Celtics, bringing his versatile skills to the storied franchise.
