Aaron Civale is a professional baseball player born on June 12, 1995, in East Windsor, New Jersey. He attended Northeastern University and played college baseball for the Northeastern Huskies. Civale was drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in the third round of the 2016 MLB draft.
Civale worked his way up through the Guardians' minor league system and made his major league debut on June 22, 2019. He quickly established himself as a reliable starter for the team, posting a 3-4 record with a 2.34 ERA and 46 strikeouts in his rookie season.
Civale currently plays for the Cleveland Guardians as a starting pitcher.
