On December 14th, 2022, Stephen Curry suffered a left shoulder injury during the Golden State Warriors' 125-119 loss to the Indiana Pacers. The injury occurred as Curry reached in for a steal on Pacers big man Jalen Smith and his arm bent back awkwardly. Curry immediately grabbed his shoulder in pain and walked to the locker room. The Warriors trainers later announced that he would not return to the game. Curry was seen sitting at his locker with his shoulder wrapped in ice after the game.
